A travelling theatre production is touring Hertfordshire schools to help 15 and 16-year-olds thinking about their career options.
The Stay in Learning theatre presentation, supported by the Learning Skills Council Hertfordshire, is due to visit Borehamwood's Hertswood School on November 26.
The performance, by drama company ImpAct, will highlight the benefits of various career options, and features contemporary music, comedy and television and film characters.
According to the Learning Skills Council, next year's school leavers face a series of choices, which include: studying for qualifications at sixth form level or at college, or working towards National Vocational Qualifications in the workplace.
Roy Bain, executive director of the Learning Skills Council Hertfordshire, said: "We are pleased to be working with ImpAct this year. Research has shown that the presentations do help students make some crucial decisions about the best way for them to continue learning, and ultimately which career to follow."
The Learning Skills Council is a national organisation, operating through 46 local offices, responsible for all post-16 education in England, excluding the university sector.
