YEAR six pupils of Woodhall Primary School wowed football legend Filippo Galli with their skills and techniques in IT last week as they welcomed the Watford captain to the building for the official opening of the school's new computer suite.

Pupils from all year groups filled the main assembly hall in Woodhall Lane, South Oxhey, on Thursday, November 1, to meet and greet the former AC Milan star who conducted a short question and answer session before opening the recently refurbished computer suite comprising 16 new computer workstations.

The refurbishment follows a successful Ofsted inspection conducted at the school in June, in which officers in their final report highlighted the teaching of computer skills as being a key strength of the school.

At the opening, headteacher Mrs Susan Westmoreland said: "We are pleased to be able to use school finances to purchase the computers in order to provide state of the art resources for the children here."
