A CLINICAL display of finishing from Robert Morrissey clinched Watford Irish's fourth win of the season, 4-2 at home to a spirited Langleybury Old Boys side.
Morrissey, in only his second appearance since recovering from a broken arm, fired Irish into a three-goal lead, with a hat-trick to add to his brace from the previous week.
After being dropped due to his poor pre-match preparation, substitute Matt Smith's first contribution to the match was to gift Langleybury their first goal.
An own goal restored John Morrissey's side's advantage, before a strike from Lee Steadman, his third in two games, completed the scoring.
Champions St Joesphs were forced to come from two goals down to grab a point at home to Bedmond, while Oakview completed the double over Wellington Arms, with a 4-2 victory moving them up to third in the table.
In Division One, Mill End United followed their best performance of the season with their worst of the campaign but still managed to overcome a spirited Glenn Sports 3-2 and a brace from youngster Steven Lyons and one from veteran Paul Cuthbert fired Watford Railway to the top of the third division with a 3-1 win over fellow title contenders Rifle Volunteer.
