HOME-MADE jams and cakes and hand-stitched toys were just some of the wares on sale at a Christmas craft fair at Croxley Green Community Centre on Saturday, November 10.
About 200 people attended the event in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind although organiser Barbara Rabbitts said the turn-out had been a bit disappointing.
She said: "They were queuing at the doors this morning but since then it has been a bit slow. It has been good seeing as it is the first one we've done and we are hoping to make it an annual event."
Among local craftspeople exhibiting their skills was tray-maker Caroline Jones, who is blind, accompanied by her guide dog Eddy. She said: "I have had a very enjoyable day."
