ROUNDBUSH Pub in Aldenham will give the stop sign to smoking when it bans punters from lighting up, starting on March 31.
Licensee Lorraine McCarthy kicked the habit in 2005 as a new years resolution after 25 years of smoking, and now her boozer in Roundbush Lane will follow suit.
She said: "We're a food pub mainly and we open as a Thai restaurant in the evenings, so it just makes sense. We couldn't believe how smoky it was, I could barely breathe sometimes.
"Thankfully that'll be changing now, people who want to go out and have a nice meal don't want to be bombarded with smoke. Fingers crossed we'll gain some customers."
Plans by the Government mean that up to 90 per cent of bars could be smoke-free within a few years.
