WEATHER permitting, the delayed second round of The Watford Observer MET Linden Homes Knockout Cricket Competition will finally get under way this week.
West Herts, having conceded home advantage, will be hoping not to be on the receiving end when they travel to Aldenham tomorrow (Tuesday, June 11).
Three matches are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 12, with last year's beaten finalists Moor Park travelling to Abbots Langley, and Chipperfield at home to Watford Haidery. Clarendon have conceded home advantage for the final tie, and they now travel to Watford Town.
The final match of the week is on Thursday, June 13, when Bushey entertain Chorleywood.
However, fixture congestion has meant that Langleybury A have been able to confirm a date for the tie of the round with Home Counties Premier League Division Two East rivals and cup holders Hemel Hempstead Town. It is hoped this game will be played early next week.
For all the latest news from the competition, make sure you pick up a copy of this week's The Watford Observer.
