Temple Fortune Bowls Club raised £325 for the North London Hospice in a charity tournament for the Temple Fortune Trophy on Saturday.
Five rinks, from Bishopswood, Friary Park, Hornsey, HGH and Roundwood, faced rinks from Temple Fortune.
The host club's four, of P Mitchell, D Seedburgh, J Jones and C Bennett, reached the final but were beaten by Bishopswood.
- Mill Hill Bowls Club won a great game at Muswell Hill by 51 shots to 48.
Their winning rinks were Ron Smith, David Bailey, and Henry Chern, 14-12, and Ron Hurley, John Lacey and Sam McKeown, 24-11.
But all four Mill Hill rinks were beaten in a 78-52 defeat by East Barnet Valley.
