Put into bat in damp conditions, Barclays made slow progress to 104-3 off 42 overs.
But steady batting by Kemp, five dropped catches and gritty displays by Rajapakse (43) and Herath (34) enabled them to declare at 168-8.
Good bowling by Jayasinghe (3-16), Herath and Evans restricted South Hampstead. Only P Goodison (64) reached double figures.
Enfield II 113 Barclays II 114-1. On Saturday, Barclays are away to Southgate.
- Stanmore's two weekend games were abandoned without a ball being bowled. The first casualty was the league match against Eastcote on Saturday and when Sunday's home National Cup game against Harrow was about to start, the rain fell again.
Stanmore are home to Richmond on Saturday and home to Winchmore Hill on Sunday.
