MARCUS CLOWES claimed a sensational hat-trick for Sandridge cricket club in only his second game for the club in a shock 33 run victory over Holtwhites Trinibis in Division Five of the Herts Cricket League.
Sandridge were all out for 104 before Clowes took centre stage with his first ball, inducing an edge that Murphy safely caught at first slip while his second produced a similar result with Murphy diving away to his right to claim the catch.
Then, as the Sandridge fielders, closed in around the bat, Clowes claimed his hat-trick with a ball that took the leading edge before finding its way to Corran who took the catch.
The match was quickly wrapped up as Holtwhites collapsed from 42-0 to all out for 71 in a victory which could just turnaround Sandridge's season.
