Radlett had their most positive batting display for a while against Berkamsted, scoring 281-3.
A freak run out off the last ball cost Matt Soffair his wicket and the eight runs lost proved crucial. Morgan Stanley, Matt Soffair, Matt Roy and Parag Shah put Radlett in a strong position, backed up by John Mansell and the rest of the team.
Radlett were on top, but could not take the vital fourth wicket, and a last pair stand of 38 runs gave Berkhamsted an exciting victory.

Radlett bounced back from their last defeat to beat rivals Langleybury by 36 runs.
A solid opening partnership of 23 by Parag Shah and Kailash Morjaria set a reasonable target. Matt Soffair scoring 11 runs at the end to help Radlett reach 245-3.
In reply, Langleybury started steadily, but were pegged back by two run outs by Jake Jones and Parag Shah, off Kieran Collopy's bowling.
The match decisively turned in the 12th over, when Matt Soffair took four wickets with his leg spin bowling, including a hat-trick off the first three balls.
He finished with five wickets for 10 runs. Langleybury recovered to 209, losing by 36 runs.
Yet another match, against Hemel, was cancelled due to the poor weather on Thursday.
