WEST HERTS moved to within one point of the summit following a six-wicket win over Welwyn Garden City in Division Two East of the Home Counties Premier League on Saturday, June 8.
There was good news as well for Chorleywood, who finally recorded their maiden victory in the top flight, at the seventh attempt, after a convincing eight-wicket success over Stevenage.
But Hemel Hempstead Town's six-match winning streak came to an end as they were beaten by a Francois Herbst-inspired Hoddesdon side.
