ABBOTS LANGLEY produced the performance of the second round to dump Moor Park, last year's beaten finalists, out of The Watford Observer MET Linden Homes Knockout Competition in a thrilling, low-scoring encounter.

However, things had looked bleak for Abbots early on after they were dismissed for just 86 off the last ball of the innings on a treacherous pitch.

Abbots then turned in a superb bowling display to dismiss a potent Moor Park batting line-up out for just 66 in the penultimate over.
