A READER'S father was stationed at HMS Turnstone, a land base in Watford/Fulham during the VE Day celebrations.
He served in the Royal Marines and was wondering if anyone could provide information about where this Royal Marine land base was situated and any other information about the marines or the VE Day celebrations that took place.
