MR R BAILEY may have stretched his lead to 54 points in the race for a portable colour TV, but its congratulations to Mr N Shaw who is the winner of the fourth and final England shirt on offer in The Watford Observer's World Cup competition.
Having already won his prize, Mr Bailey could not claim a second replica jersey, so that honour goes to Mr Shaw, who finished the second phase of matches 29 points clear of third placed Keith Dowding.
Although his Pool B selection Sweden were knocked out, Mr Shaw benefited from 100 bonus points thanks to Spain and South Korea's qualification for the last eight. He also picked up an additional 20 points after Michael Owen broke his goal-duck in the competition.
Due to the massive demand for replica shirts on the back of England's success, there may be a small delay in distributing prizes, but we are endeavouring to have the prizes with their winners as quickly as possible.
