A TYPE of prayer through chanting and music called Taize is taking place at a Watford church.
St Andrew's Church in Nascot is trying the Taize style of service for a second time.
A spokesman for the church said: "St Andrew's Church warmly welcomes people to share in a service of Taize style worship.
"The worship consists of easy to sing chants, with instrumental accompaniment.
"There are also periods of silence for reflection and prayer.
"It is a very peaceful, relaxing form of worship, which comes from the ecumenical Taize community in France.
"Anyone is welcome to come, to sing, play and instrument or simply to listen."
The service will be held at 6.30pm on Sunday, June 30, at St Andrew's Church which is between Church Road and Park Road in Nascot Village, Watford.
