Borehamwood Bowls Club travelled to Mill Hill Bowls Club for a four-rink mixed triples friendly but they suffered a comprehensive loss, by 65-41.
However, they did succeed on one rink, where Bryan Mayson and Peggy Pollentine led by Tony Parker, won on the final end by 15-13.
The following day saw the ladies away to Pavilion, to play one league and one friendly rink.
In the league match Margaret Moseley's team of Chris Martin, Eileen Mason and Betty Tranter had a creditable win by 25-15. The friendly rink lost by 26-11.
Five mixed triples rinks were played away to Rickmansworth on the Saturday, with Borehamwood suffering a heavy defeat by 125-55.
The only winning rink was George Gable and Ivy Eagles led by Dickie Daniels, who won 16-15.
Three mens triples and two ladies triples rinks travelled to Withern on Sunday and went down 64-40. The only winning rink for Borehamwood was Tom Barker, Ray Parkins and Eric Witney.
Borehamwood's Friday Night League teams continued their impressive form with a crushing 64-24 win over Mill End.
The away team of John Roe, Tom Barker and Ron Price, skippered by Roy Edwards, triumphed 36-9 and the home team of Colin Williams, Ken Sharp and Norman Harrison, led by Arthur Moseley, won comfortably 28-15.
