A special party held for the children of Shenley on Saturday proved to be a great success.
The party was held at the Tea Pavilion and Old Chapel in Shenley Park as part of the Queen's Jubilee Celebrations in Shenley, and around 350 children and parents went along.
"It was set up so that families could bring their children, and bring their own picnics. The idea was to bring a lot of children from the area together, and to let them make the party themselves," said organiser Paul Racibowski.
"We had two people in big furry rabbit costumes, the Borehamwood Brass Band and our own music system, and everybody seemed to enjoy it."
