Youngsters from Cowley Hill School enjoyed a good soaking when they were taken to Legoland by the Rotary Club on Wednesday last week.
A group of 21 pupils went to the theme park on a trip organised by the Rotary Club of Elstree and Borehamwood, as part of the Kids Out initiative.
Seven members of the Rotary Club accompanied the children as they went on the most thrilling rides they could find, including the Wave Surfer.
Club president Peter Challis said: "The children were all extremely well behaved and everyone had a lovely time.
"They all said how much they enjoyed it and many of them were thoroughly soaked."
The Rotary Club organises a day out to schoolchildren each year as part of the national Kids Out campaign.
Kids Out promotes trips to give kids the chance to take part in exciting activities, and it awarded the Rotary Club a grant for last week's visit.
To round off the day, the children accompanied several of the Rotarians in a sing-song on the bus on the way back to Borehamwood.
