Angry gardeners with allotments in Shenley have asked the parish council to take action to stop rabbits eating their plants and vegetables. The council, which owns the allotments, off London Road, last week agreed to employ pest control experts to tackle the problem as soon as possible.
*A new bus shelter is to be installed to replace the dilapidated shelter opposite the White Horse pub in London Road, Shenley. The parish council agreed to install a shelter, at a cost of around £2,500.
*Parish councillors in Shenley seek talks with the Church of England and Hertsmere Borough Council about the future of St Botolph's churchyard. The parish council is concerned that the graveyard, in Shenleybury, is not being properly maintained.
