REDBOURN Cricket Club kicked off their Chess Valley League campaign with an impressive win against Wheathampstead gaining revenge for a defeat against the same opponents 24 hours earlier.
In 45 overs, Geoff Bartlett's men scored 150-9 with the captain leading by example to claim 47.
The Redbourn bowlers then demolished the visitors for 136 in 40 overs, with Darren Bassill (3-11) and Thomas Cridland (3-16) doing most of the damage.
