Harlow...126 a/o
Billericay...181 a/o
Harlow lose by 55 runs
(Essex League Division One)
A MIXED performance from Harlow at the Marigolds led to their third league defeat of the season on Saturday.
Winning the toss home skipper Jed Hill chose to field and Billericay were soon reduced to 45-4, thanks to some superb bowling from Lenihan.
Harlow chipped away at the lower order and with Odedra picking up three more wickets to finish with 4-42, Harlow wrapped up the Billericay innings for 181.
Chasing their third win in four weeks, Harlow's innings almost perfectly mirrored that of their opponents.
Three early wickets were followed by a mini-revival between Mark Green and Simon Baulcomb for the fourth wicket.
With 25 overs left, Harlow into a strong position at 120-6 and looked comfortable.
However, the dismissal of Nilesh Oderda for 32 exposed the Harlow tail and Batson only needed two more overs to finish off Harlow.
