ST ALBANS CENTURIONS are back in action on Saturday, June 22, hoping to secure their place in the play-off with their seventh TotalRL.com Conference win out of seven this season, when they meet the Cambridge Eagles at OV's ground.
While the Eagles have been battling this season, pressure is exerted on the Centurions in another way, with the knowledge that their season concludes with a tough trio of matches.
They host Leicester next week, before travelling to Ipswich on Saturday, July 6, before Luton are the visitors the following weekend.
A win on Saturday is crucial then, if they are to hang on to top spot in the Eastern Division and enjoy an easier play-off draw.
The Centurions won their earlier encounter with Cambridge 23-4 in the second week of the season, and since then the St Albans club has recorded a series of wins, while the Eagles have crash-landed.
