HARLOW residents can have their say on the future of arts and recreation in the town. Harlow Council is inviting people to give their views on a draft cultural strategy which looks at developing art and culture.
Entitled Infinite Possibilities, it looks at the cultural picture of Harlow and raises many key issues identified by the community, including parks and open spaces, heritage, sport and recreation, the arts, tourism, young people and play.
The head of Harlow Arts, Laurence Sach, said: "The arts, heritage and leisure have always played an important part in the life of the town. This strategy will help the council plan for future opportunities and make Harlow a place where everyone can take pleasure and pride."
Copies of the strategy are available online at www.harlow.gov.uk.-new.htm, or by ringing 01279 446760. To have your say email laurence.sach@harlow.gov.uk.
