ROTARIANS put smiles on the faces of 186 children when they took them on a day out to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne. The day began at Harlow Sportcentre where the youngsters boarded decorated cars and coaches and were waved off by Harlow MP Bill Rammell, Harlow Council chairman Nick Macy and his wife, Caroline, and vice-chairman Patrick McClarnon and his wife, Patsy.
The Rotary clubs received support from Harlow Sportcentre, Harlow firefighters and Littlewoods.
The day was organised as part of the Rotary Club's National Kids Out event, now in its twelfth year.
Debra Napier, of Bishop's Stortford Rotary Club, said: "The day was a great success, it was enjoyed by all. It was fantastic to see the smiles on the childrens' faces."
