Barnes 177 Barnet 129
Middlesex County League Division Two
Barnet had Barnes on the rack at 100-7, off 41 overs, but lost their grip in the face of a powerful onslaught by the visitors who added 77 runs off the next 11 overs for a total of 177.
This proved too much for Barnet who were all out for 129, and still seek their first league win of the season to lift them off the bottom of the table.
On Sunday, Barnet lost to Fives and Heronians in the Evening Standard Trophy second round. Sam Berry (46) batted well, but Barnet went down by three wickets.
