WATFORD JOGGERS graced the St Albans Half Marathon with a brace of personal bests on Sunday, June 16, from the four runners.
Paul Johnson ran a nine-minute best over all age groups in his inaugral event as a vet, clocking 1.35.48.
Heather Mitchell was also delighted to record her fastest ever time of 2.04.23 which was good enough to finish well up in the field.
Dick Ashford had a hard race for 1.49.20, but Linda Hinshelwood suffered taking part in too many events in the past month, as well as the soaring heat and humid conditions, to clock 2.05.04.
Watford Joggers are a sociable running club, welcoming runners and walkers of all abilities. For details, contact Harvey on 01923 224947.
