Peter Sawyer (Co-operation needed for progress at Underhill') dismisses the threat to Barnet FC's future in the borough as scaremongering'.
When he talks about the goodwill and co-operation of the new council', he deliberately ignores the apathetic and indifferent responses of Victor Lyon and Brian Coleman at their recent meetings with representatives of the football club.
It is all too apparent that they do not care about the future of Barnet FC in the borough of Barnet.
Surely a commercial complex' like a sports centre or swimming pool, which would have to incorporate car parking for patrons and would be in all-day use for seven days a week, is precisely the sort of inappropriate Green Belt development that BRASS was campaigning against.
Or have I missed something?
