Barclays 250-7 (52 overs) Uxbridge 191-8 (48 overs)
Middlesex County League Division Two
Barclays made up for last week's disappointing display by getting stuck into some generous bowling by Uxbridge on Saturday.
Evert Ferreira was again the star of the home side's batting, smashing a magnificent 128 and being ably supported by Vidanage, who reached 52.
The home side kept their bowling tight and were never in danger of surrendering their lead despite the visitor's Smith making an unbeaten 68.
Barclays grabbed four points to Uxbridge's one.
On Sunday, Barclays again passed the double-ton mark at home to South Hampstead in the Ibex Cup. Evert Ferreira carried on where he left off the previous day.
He smashed a commanding 151 not out, helping the hosts to an impressive 261/4.
Despite a foot injury to Barclay's Dampier, South Hampstead were dismissed with the minimum of fuss for 184, Jayasinghe, Patel and Nathan doing the damage.
Barclays play host to the MCC on July 4 at the Wilf Slack Memorial Ground in East End Road, Finchley. The match starts at 11.30am.
