THE popular Bricket Wood multi-terrain race over 5.5 miles made a welcome return on Sunday, June 23, after last year's foot and mouth cancellation, and ten Watford Joggers put their best foot forward on a hot day.
Tim Woolridge led the way despite nearly losing a shoe, while the resurgent Ron Lalley again got the better of post-holiday Andy Willerton.
Dennis Elkins' substantial lunch before the afternoon start did not help much.
For full times from this event, and news of other Joggers' performances, don't miss this week's edition of The Watford Observer.
