The film actress Jenny Seagrove helped to judge a charity dog show in Borehamwood on Sunday.
The show, held at Tempsford Green, was organised to raise funds for the Fenbank Greyhound Sanctuary in Lincolnshire, which looks after abandoned racing dogs.
Miss Seagrove judged best rescue dog and the dog with the waggiest tail. The MP Chris Smith also attended, and spent time chatting with Ernie Butler, the Mayor of Elstree and Borehamwood.
Organiser Carol Rason, from Stangate Crescent, said around £1,400 was raised: "I was very pleased with the way it went. It would be nice to have the show again next year," she said.
