Hertfordshire police are appealing to parents to ensure their children use popular ball-bearing guns safely, following a number of reports of youths using them to frighten and injure people. They say the guns should only be used in back gardens, and warn that any person carrying one in public could be arrested and that use of one in a crime could be treated the same as a real firearm.
