The Elstree-based Joely Bear Appeal has extended its blood donor session on Sunday, to make it easier for football fans to watch the World Cup final. The session will start at Elstree and Borehamwood Synagogue in Croxdale Road, from 9.30am until 4.30pm on Sunday, June 30. A television will be showing the match, and a creche, with free face-painting for children, will be provided, and new donors aged between 17 and 65 are encouraged to give for the first time.
