The Elstree Singers will perform a charity concert at St Nicholas Church next month.
The choir, conducted by Terence Atkins, perform unaccompanied motets and part-songs. The chamber choir was set up in 1973. Ann Lawrence, from Elstree, and Jill Adams are founder members and still perform.
Mrs Lawrence said: "It is exciting and challenging to be in the choir. There is a good atmosphere when we perform, and we always have an appreciative audience."
The concert will be held at 8pm on Wednesday, July 3, at St Nicholas Church, Elstree High Street. Admission £5, in aid of church funds. The choir welcomes new members. Call 020 8440 9942 for information.
