ST ALBANS' Premiership linesman Phil Sharp will officiate in the World Cup Final between Brazil and Germany on Sunday, June 30
The assistant referee, who was last in action in Germany's 1-0 quarter-final victory over the USA, was one of the four officials confirmed for the showdown in Yokohama by football's governing body FIFA on Thursday, June 27.
Arguably the world's leading referee, Italian Perluigini Collina, will take charge of the match, while the other assistant is Sweden's Leif Lindberg. Scotland's Hugh Dallas will be the fourth official.
