RADLETT CRICKET CLUB have announced a major coup for their junior coaching courses taking place at the club's Cobden Hill ground during summer.
Joining former Zimbabwean test batsmen and current Radlett linchpin Dave Houghton will be South African paceman David Terbrugge.
Terbrugge has become a maintstay of the South Africans' attack, and recently took the prize wickets of Justin Langer and Matthew Hayden during his side's victory over the Australians.
"The quality of coaches we've secured for this years' courses is just incredible," said Radlett captain and former Middlesex cricketer Scott Moffat, whose company MWE run the courses.
"Learning from players of this calibre will be very special for the youngsters attending the course."
Moffat played with Terbrugge for Rand University during his time in South Africa, and was quick to make the most of Terbrugge's decision to play summer cricket in the UK, for Banstead in Surrey.
Houghton meanwhile, has been a revelation in the early part of his first season with the club.
Moffat said: "He's been fantastic, everything we expected and more, and he's always willing to offer advice and bring the youngsters on."
The first week of courses, from July 15-19, is already sold out, but space is still available during the summer holiday courses running from July 29 to August 2, from August 12-16 and from August 27-30.
Courses, which run from 10am to 4pm and cost £95, are restricted to 60 youngsters, with six coaches ensuring each player receives personal tuition.
