REDBOURN'S miserable season continued on Saturday, June 22, as they were comfortably beaten by Welwyn Garden City second XI by five wickets in Division Three.
Put into bat, Geoff Bartlett's side slumped to 94 all out with nobody in the Redbourn batting order making any sort of real impression.
In reply, John Fleming struck a couple of early wickets but Redbourn's cause was not helped when bowler Kevin Hull was injured batting and unable to take any further part in the match as Welwyn eased to victory.
