RUBBISH was the talk of the day for pupils of Francis Combe School and Community College, when they joined forces with a fastfood giants McDonald's for an environmental project.
Staff at the Garston restaurant joined forces with Year 9 pupils at the school in Horseshoe Lane to target litter within the community.
The project is part of the educational nationwide campaign, Just Bin It, which McDonald's has supported for the past 13 years.
Participating pupils at the school celebrated their achievements at an assembly at the school on Monday.
Staff from McDonald's presented the school with a bin for their playground to help keep the school litter free.
