PETER TAYLOR has a clear lead in The Watford Observer's online poll asking who can take Watford forward.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion boss had polled 26.5 per cent by the morning of Thursday, June 27, compared to 18.7 per cent for current Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler.
Steve Coppell and Hornets' legend John Barnes are tied in third with 14 per cent, John Ward has attracted 12.5 per cent of the vote, former manager and first team coach Kenny Jackett has 7.8 per cent, while new chief scout Nigel Gibbs is favoured by 4.6 per cent.
However, caretaker manager Ray Lewington is only the choice of 1.5 per cent of those who have voted.
