I HAVE spent a considerable amount of time over the past 14 years researching my father's family tree.

Although the Colliar family originally came from the Kinross and Fife areas of Scotland, my research has put me in touch with branches of the family from all over the world, so this year I have planned a Colliar family day for Saturday, August 3, 2002, to be held in Fife.

I have had a lot of interested parties from abroad who hope to attend.
