YOUNG football fans in the area have been given more than 6,000 Kids Go Free ground passes by St Albans City Football Club for their three upcoming friendly matches at Clarence Park.
The Saints are playing Watford on July 13, Peterborough on July 18 and Northampton on July 24 and around 2,000 passes have been distributed for each game to children who are accompanied by a paying adult.
Organiser Karen Gibson said: "This is a great way for kids to support their local team and to invite adults back to the stands."
The tickets were distributed through 32 local junior schools and at summer fairs, jubilee days and cub and scout packs.
