HOW WOOD PRIMARY SCHOOL wrapped up the sporting year in style on Saturday, June 29, with victory at the Small Schools Swimming Gala, collecting the Girls Freestyle Relay Cup, Boys Freestyle Relay Cup and the overall team trophy. The win completes a successful year for the school, during which eight trophies were secured.
The school's achievements are a fitting tribute to Tom Hatton, Deputy Head and physical education co-ordinator, who retires this summer after 33 years at the school.
