A HOMELESS project is asking for help accommodating youngsters while the charity works to help improve their circumstances.
Crashpad is a charity run by Ascend, based in the All Saints Church Centre, Gosforth Lane, South Oxhey.
In recent months it has seen volunteers willing to put up the homeless youths dwindle from 17 to four.
Project coordinator Mrs Margaret Ross-Paterson said the charity desperately needs new volunteers.
She said: "It has gone down dramatically I am afraid."
For offering the 16 to 21 year olds short-term emergency accommodation and meals the "host" will receive £20 per night.
