TALENTED hurdler Joe Tenny heads to next week's English Schools Championships in confident form after breaking the Watford and District Track and Field Championships record on Tuesday (July 9).
The 15-year-old Queens School pupil, who competes at under-17 level, set new figures for the 80m hurdles of 11.2. This performance also earned him the Year 10 boy of the competition trophy at the Woodside Stadium event.
Joe is the reigning county champion, and will be bidding to add the national crown to his growing list of successes in Nottingham on Thursday and Friday.
