THE British Horse Society (BHS) has issued its stamp of approval to Hill Farm in Radlett, giving it the thumbs up as an official livery establishment.
Trudi Palmer, yard manager of the Watling Street site, is pleased as punch about the decision.
She said: "It's good news. The inspectors all seemed very impressed with the yard and we're happy to receive the recognition we think the farm deserves.
"We've been given a plaque to put up, which is always nice."
A representative for the BHS congratulated Hill Farm on the recognition.
He said: "Each establishment is inspected to ensure there is a satisfactory level of horse care, welfare and facilities.
"Recommendation is not given lightly, and Hill Farm can be proud it has satisfied the BHS inspectors by meeting the required standards."
