TWO teenage boys have been left "extremely shaken" after being robbed when walking through Cassiobury Park in Watford.
Hertfordshire police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident take place at about 4.45pm on Thursday, February 10.
The victims, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old boy, were walking through the park towards Rickmansworth Road when they were approached from behind by two offenders.
The two victims separated and one offender approached one of the victims and demanded he hand over his mobile phone and cash and assaulted him. He searched the victim's pockets and stole his mobile phone.
The second offender approached the other victim and demanded his money, before making off towards Shepherd Road. The first offender is described as a white male, around 16 to 18 years old, with short blonde hair. He was around 5ft 6in tall and was wearing a dark grey hooded jacket and black trousers.
The second offender was around 6ft tall and about 17 to 18 years old. He was wearing dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
Detective Constable Jo Goodson, investigating the robberies, said: "This incident left the two boys extremely shaken. We believe there were a number of other people in the park when it happened, so it is likely that someone saw the robberies take place."
