AN application to build 56 homes in Mill End was deferred last week.
The application, made by Country and Metropolitan Plc, is to demolish two houses in The Queen's Drive and build an access road to the site, which is currently a green area used by local residents for dog walking.
Councillors at the Three Rivers development control meeting last Thursday agreed to defer the decision to allow for a site visit, as many councillors were not familiar with the area in question.
The application is due to be brought back before the committee at next month's meeting.
