A MOB surrounded a house in Chorleywood last week and carried out a sustained attack on the property.
Police this week appealed for people who may have information about the incident to come forward and help with investigations into the incident.
The attack took place at 12.40am on Saturday, February 5, when a large group of youths caused substantial damage to a house in Capell Road.
The group, which is believed to have consisted of up to 11 people, targeted the house, causing damage to a number of windows and a car belonging to the occupants.
The offenders also forced the front door of the house open.
After a short while they made off on foot.
Detective Sergeant Paul Hedges, from the western area crime unit, said: "This was a terrifying ordeal for the occupants of the house.
"The group caused a large amount of damage and we are appealing for the public's help in identifying those responsible.
"We are keen to speak to anyone who was in Capell Road, Quickley Lane or the High Street area of Chorleywood at around the time of the incident."
Nine men have so far been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail to return to Watford Police Station on Wednesday, March 9.
Anyone with information is asked to telephone DS Paul Hedges at the western area crime unit on 01923 472065 or telephone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
