IN the lead up to Contraceptive Awareness Week, which starts on Monday, February 14, Watford and Three Rivers Primary Care Trust is reminding people about the sexual health services available locally.
A weekly clinic for teenagers is held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 6.30pm at the Watford Sexual Health Centre at Watford General Hospital.
Youths can discuss any sexual health issue they wish and no appointment is necessary.
Confidential advice and services on contraception, including emergency contraception, is available from the Avenue Clinic, The Avenue, Watford, on Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm to 7pm; Garston Clinic, St Albans Road, Garston, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm and on Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm to 7pm; and the South Oxhey Clinic, Oxhey Drive, South Oxhey, on Tuesdays, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
