THE leader of the House of Commons, Peter Hain MP, has again defended the decision to close Harefield Hospital.
In an exclusive interview with the Watford Observer, he said: "Patients with heart problems need to have absolutely the best possible care.
"It will be best to put the cardiology specialist services into a super-hospital in Paddington.
"It doesn't mean inequality of care. There will be a better chance of saving lives. I think people will see the sense in that."
