A RADLETT woman died in hospital on Sunday after collapsing while walking in Elstree.
Angelina Singleton, 57, of Watling Street, fell to the ground for unknown reasons in Elstree Hill North on Friday, February 4.
She was able to pick herself up and went to the nearby Artichoke Pub to recover, before leaving alone.
Shortly afterwards she collapsed again and a member of the public helped her back to the bar where an ambulance was called.
Mrs Singleton, who is married with two children, was then taken to Barnet General Hospital, where she died.
It is possible a blue car may have been in the vicinity when Mrs Singleton collapsed and could have seen what happened. Police are appealing for witnesses.
Inspector Terry Robb said: "We would like to establish exactly what occurred on this day. We would particularly like to speak to the driver or passengers in the blue car, or any passerby who may have witnessed the event."
Anybody with information should telephone PC Macintyre on 01707 638703.
